Casa Ladinia is an independent valuation service for anyone selling a home in the five Ladin valleys of the Dolomites: Val Gardena, Alta Badia and Val Badia, Val di Fassa, Fodom (Arabba) and Ampezzo (Cortina). We are not an estate agency: we estimate the value from the address using the public data of the Italian Revenue Agency's property market observatory (OMI). Good to know when selling in the Dolomites
- Three provinces, three sets of rules: Val Gardena and Val Badia are in South Tyrol, Val di Fassa in Trentino, Fodom and Cortina in the Veneto. Rules on resident-only homes and second homes differ between them.
- Holiday homes: most foreign owners sell a second home. Check first how the property is classified with the town council and in the land register.
- Prices vary hugely: from about €1,100/m² to over €14,000/m², depending on the village and the exact location.
